YouTube has recently unveiled it’s YouTube Creator Playbook and it’s a very systematic, easy to understand, step by step explanation of all the individual elements of successful YouTube videos and YouTube video channels.  Here’s the download link and I’d highly recommend you download your copy, read through it several times and put as much of it into action in your videos as you can.

The YouTube Creator Playbook is a treasure chest of valuable information.  I especially love the way it’s organized.  YouTube has gone to great lengths to suggest organizational tips, strategies, and best practices for building loyal viewership of your YouTube content.

It isn’t ‘YouTube tips and tricks’ but it’s rather designed to help you plan, produce and present your videos in such a way that people will be attracted to them and want to subscribe to your YouTube Channel.  Everything in the YouTube Creator Playbook won’t apply to everybody but don’t worry about that.  It’s OK.  Just use what makes sense to you based on where you are and what you’re interested in right now.

You’ll remember that in recent weeks I’ve pointed out a lot of the functionality that you have within your YouTube account.  The YouTube Creator Playbook will help you use that functionality more effectively.

I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again…if you really study and become familiar with just the easily accessible information that YouTube has about using YouTube.com you’d have more than enough information to actually sell your services to lots of businesses and professionals on ‘Main Street USA’.

99% of YouTubers won’t do that.  They’ll continue to make videos that are average and ordinary.  That’s why the opportunity is so great.  Business people are very open minded about video and video marketing right now.  They’re hearing about it everywhere so if you bring up the subject, you’ll have a very receptive audience.

My suggestion would be to pick a subject that (1) interests you and (2) has some interest within the wider YouTube internet audience.  Set up your own YouTube channel and start to make videos for it.  Take these elements or concepts from the YouTube Creator Playbook and work on implementing them one-by-one into your YouTube videos.

Don’t worry about being perfect.  You don’t have to be.  I promise you that the very fact that you’re talking about this subject will make you special in the eyes of your potential business clients.

I know I don’t have to tell you that these are scary times we’re living in financially but I think being a YouTube Video Marketing Consultant is a wide open and potentially very lucrative field.  Yet, it’s a profession you can get into with virtually ZERO investment and it’s very easy to do part-time at first.
