The Internet Youtube Video Marketing Land Rush
In case your haven’t noticed, there’s a land rush on to get into video marketing. Seems like the whole world is waking up to the fact that video on YouTube is the most effective way to get eyeballs and ears onto your product.
I remember the videos and maybe you do to of the ‘land rushes‘ of the Old West…everybody wanted to get ‘out there’ as soon as they could. People were ‘going West’ on trains, wagon trains, horses and some even walked or rode bicycles.
They often risked their bank accounts and their personal safety because they knew that there was unlimited free land in the western territories where they could get a new start on life. And that’s the way online video marketing is today.
YouTube is the company that started it all and is still today the place to get the most exposure. And it’s gotten very sophisticated. They add features in there almost weekly now.
For example, I was making a video the other day and I saw the ‘caption’ feature, the manually controllable ‘slider’ bar and the annotation feature. All these functions and more are very nice ways to ‘trick out’ your videos for maximum effect.
And have you noticed how many people are putting up their own YouTube Channels? I’m seeing a lot more. Some of the YouTube Channels I see don’t have much content in them but others have an amazingly large amount of content….but other do.
Your YouTube Channel is like your very own “40 acres” of the internet video land rush….with out any of the risk. It’s like having land and just planting anything that will grow. Back in the days of the ‘land rush‘, many of the early settlers weren’t really farmers. They just knew they had to plant something. And sinse there were so many other new settlers coming West, it was easy to sell almost anything they could grow.
Video is like that too. There are so many people who use YouTube and other video sharing sites that there’s a market for almost anything.
I’ve seen channels about news, make-up, cake baking, auto repair, Bachata dancing…..and the list goes on.
What’s your passion? What are you good at that somebody somewhere might like equally as much?
Back in the Old West days, people had to be pretty self-sufficient. They really didn’t have much, if anything, in the way of government assistance. But today there’s so many free tools on the internet that make it easy to ‘stake your claim’ to……however much success you want.
You knew, didn’t you, that the same company who owns YouTube also owns Blogger.com?
That’s right, Blogger.com, which was the first really large and successful free blogging platform, has grown remarkably since it’s early years. You can make some very nice looking blogs over there plus you can accessorize your blog in any way that suits you.
You could take virtually anything you’re interested in and create a blog for it and then put your new YouTube videos on your blog. Most blogs are constantly evolving because it’s so easy to add to them and make changes.
That’s one of the things I liked so much about blogging when I first started just a few years ago….i.e. It was so creative.
And believe me! There’s lots of blogs that started out ‘just for fun’ but grew to become not only very popular but also profitable. Now they sell ad space, affiliate marketing products, they do joint ventures with people in related markets. It’s a very viable way to do business.
My sons, James and Tyler McFadden have been very successful with their YouTube activities. They’ve even got a channel on YouTube called “GoPotatoeTV”
My sons got started in YouTube video marketing just for fun and then got more sophisticated as they learned more about it. But have you ever considered how little the average business person knows about YouTube?
Yeah…they don’t know very much. They’re really just too busy. And how much do you think it would be worth to them if you volunteered to set up a YouTube channel for them?
I think you’d be surprised at how many businesses would pay you to do something like that for them.
My suggestion to you is to start asking business owners you know if they’ve ever considered video marketing. Odds are..they’ll say either ‘no’ or ‘Well…yeah but I don’t know much about it.’
The good news is that you, right now, know more than they do. And that’s all you need to know to make money sharing what you know….or just doing it for them.
My sons (James and Tyler) and I just recently released a video course about making and using YouTube videos to build a business. It’s called NicheCeleb.
NicheCeleb trains people to be more comfortable on camera and get their message across. It enables total beginners to effectively sell themselves and/or their products with YouTube video.
I won’t go into all the contents of the course but there’s some great info on the site…and…we also give away a free report called YouTube Domination that I think you’ll like.
YouTube Domination has lots of information about how powerful YouTube video really is, where some of the more important buttons are to push and what they’ll do. If you’ll read it I think you’ll learn some valuable information that you can actually use to make some money yourself.
Why don’t you click over there right now, take a look at my introduction videos and get your free copy of Youtube Domination?
