What’s Holding You Back? – Popping The Question to Build Your Business Part 2
0In this post we are going to continue discussing What’s Holding You Back? – Popping The Question to Build Your Business
I really believe that as easy as video is to do today and as desperate as most business people are for help and as busy as they are (i.e. too busy to figure video marketing out for themselves)………that getting into the video marketing consulting business (whether you want to mention YouTube or not) has never been easier and more lucrative.
You could actually get into the business of being a Video Marketing Local Business Consultant for $50 or less.

Hi Video Superstars! How are you today?
I hope you’re well and I also hope you’re optimistic about all the opportunities that abound in online video and video marketing. I was having a conversation on Skype with one of my subscribers the other day and he brought up what I think is a very interesting point that I’d like to share with you.
My friend asked me how important I thought all this technical stuff was in comparison to just the person-to-person aspect of building a business online and/or offline. He commented that YouTube seemed to be changing almost as much, if not more, than Facebook and that it was hard to keep up and develop any practical plan for actually getting out ‘on the street’ and talking to people about his business.
Video Now Showing in SERPs

Hi Video Makers. I hope you’re doing well. My news today is just another indication that video is getting even more important to being seen on the web. We’re now seeing that Google is giving short preview clips of any video that are on a page of a website when that site shows up in a search inquiry. There are ways to turn it off but most people won’t know how to do that and most people won’t see any particular reason too.
The point is, although we already knew that Google ranks sites with video higher than sites without video, now we’re seeing that Google now even further entices the searcher by giving them a little preview of the video. It shows up right there on the search results page. That means that if your site, or a site belonging to a client of yours, doesn’t have video on it it’s even less likely to get any views (as if Google Places wasn’t enough competition, right?).
Great Idea For Business Owner’s Videos, the WHY! Part 2
0In this post we are going to continue discussing Great Idea For Business Owner’s Videos, the WHY!
So what I’d recommend doing is have somebody follow you around and take pictures and videos of you and what you do during your average day. You’ve got your choice of doing it all on one day or doing it a little bit each day over several days. But the idea is to assemble a series in pictures and or videos that you can add captions to or maybe add a musical background with captions. Videos of course have audio already with them.
The point is…what could be easier than just giving people a bit of insight into what you do and the WHY. I’ll guarantee you that you’ll find yourself coming up with something interesting to say more sooner than later. It doesn’t have to be a 20 minute speech but rather just a brief comment giving people some insight into the ‘real’ you and the ‘behind the scenes’ perspective on what you do and Why you do it.

Hi, Acting For Real Superstars…..how are you today?
Thom here and I had a great idea today that I want to share with you. It’s something very short and sweet, simple and practical.
Here’s the deal: You all by now are pretty well convinced that it’s important to let your customers and potential customers get to know you first on a more personal basis so that they can feel good about doing business with you. Remember this, even if you forget every thing else, are you ready? Every business has a what. you tell you prospects WHAT your product or service does but they are really interested in the WHY.
Importance of Regular Content Uploads Part 2
0In this post we are going to continue discussing Importance of Regular Content Uploads
If you, as a YouTube Channel owner, feel that somebody else’s video would be interesting and/or valuable for your audience, Google doesn’t mind. They assume that you’re thinking of them because they might not ever see those other videos just on their own. So….they don’t mind you using other videos in your channel.
Also remember that there’s nothing wrong with slide shows with music and/or narrative. That’s what ‘normal’ used to be, right? There’s several ways to easily make slide shows too but I’ll give you some more info about that subject in a later post.

Hello to all my Video Makers and Video Marketers….how are you doing? Well, I hope you’re doing well. Today I’ve got a fairly simple point to make but I’m also going to let you know why it’s a lot more important than it is complicated. You’ll see what I mean as you read through.
I want to remind you of something that was mentioned in the YouTube Creator Playbook. In that document, it told us that one of the ingredients of a highly rated YouTube channel was that it had content added to it on a regular basis.
Viral Video…Packaging Is Important Too Part 2

In this post we are going to continue discussing Viral Video…Packaging Is Important Too
In the case of video marketing and viral videos, I think video marketers would have better luck getting videos to go viral if they were more sensitive to the following key elements of what I believe makes a good viral video:
Viral Video…Packaging Is Important Too

I’ve notice that one of the video concepts that has gotten a lot of attention for the last few years that video marketing has been a buzz is the idea of having a video that ‘goes viral’. Everybody talks about have a ‘viral video’ as if it’s some sort of Holy Grail of marketing.
I suppose having a video go viral is a good thing for one’s video marketing campaign but the other day I was contemplating why it is that so few marketers do have videos that go viral.

Tracking The Google Giant
0You already remember that the internet is going more and more toward ‘video marketing’,? And you know that Google owns YouTube. And you know that top rated videos almost invariably wind up on page one of Google. The ‘game’ for marketers thus far has been trying to figure out how to consistently get videos ranked on YouTube because if videos can get ranked high on YouTube they’ll almost invariably be ranked high on Google too.
