Heaven Hi!!!

Paris Hilton was busted by the book, but Mel Gibson’s booking was a bust.
That’s the conclusion in a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department report released Thursday on the handling of the two celebrity justice cases.
The report concluded that sheriff’s officials turned in an acceptable performance when booking and jailing Hilton this year for driving on a suspended license while on probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
But it said sheriff’s officials violated several department rules in arresting and booking Gibson after he was stopped doing 87 mph on the
Pacific Coast Highway
with a tequila bottle in his car.

Spears 2:Cry For Help!!!

Heaven Hi

Is it enough that Pop Sensation, Britney Spears is rampaging the scene drunk, drugged up, and getting knocked up that she is influencing her little sister who “stole the show,” recently with the announcement of her pregnancy? But at least Nickelodeon is here to help.
Nickelodeon is considering a special for its young audience about sex and love following the news that 16-year-old “Zoey 101″ star Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant.

Are You Having a Merry Christmas?

0

Heaven Hi!!!

Coming from Ben Stein, I would have to say, touche.

Ben Stein commented in reference to Christmas,

“I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees. I don’t feel threatened. I don’t feel discriminated against. That’s what they are: Christmas trees. It doesn’t bother me a bit when people say, “Merry Christmas” to me. I don’t think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn’t bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu.

If people want a creche, it’s just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don’t like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don’t think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.

I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can’t find it in the Constitution, and I don’t like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and we aren’t allowed to worship God as we understand Him?

I guess that’s a sign that I’m getting old, too.

But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke, it’s not funny, it’s intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham’s daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her “How could God let something like this Happen?” (regarding Katrina)

Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, “I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we’ve been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.

And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?

In light of recent events…terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O’Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn’t want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.

Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. the Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn’t spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock’s son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he’s talking about. And we said OK.

Now we’re asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don’t know right from wrong, and why it doesn’t bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with “WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.”

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world’s going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says

Funny how you can send ‘jokes’ through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.

Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing?”

No Mr. Stein, I’m not.

Any New Scripts?

0

Heaven Hi!!!

Well, for those of you who think the pen is mightier than the sword are right, at least if you are working for NBC, Fox, CBS, ABC, and various other T.V. stations out there. The writers strike has taken its toll in T.V. Land as it hits its fourth week. This would be a good time for any aspiring writers to send in their joke and scripts to the studios.

Striking TV and movie writers kept up the pressure on studios by picketing and intensifying an Internet campaign that uses the very medium at issue in the contentious negotiations.

A striking writer walks past a mural of Hollywood stars last week.

Both sides were set to resume contract talks Monday. The Writers Guild of America went on strike November 5 over payment for work aired on the Web. Writers want more money when TV shows and films are sold on Internet sites such as Apple Inc.’s iTunes.

Studios, networks and producers, represented by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, say it is too early to know which business model will succeed on the Web. They want flexibility to experiment without having to be locked into payment formulas.

As the strike enters its fourth week, writers have stepped up their use of blogs, short videos, MySpace pages and other Web-based methods aimed at keeping their ranks together and reaching a wider audience, including TV viewers who will soon have to settle for reruns of their favorite prime time shows.

Check up with us later for more in-depth coverage of the strike and other entertainment related news. Check out our website. Pick up a copy of my book, Acting For Real, and see how you can break out of your rerun life, and start venturing into the fresh and entertaining world you’ve always dreamed of, without the strikes.

Who's Brightin' Up Your Holiday?

0

Heaven Hi!!!

Or should I say Holiday Hi!!! It’s that time of year where we count our blessings, fill those stockings, and cuddle up with family to view some of those classics that bring joy to the family. One of those classics is the unforgettable Rudolph. They look terrific for a duo whose holiday act debuted 43 years ago.

Though one still carries around a spare tire of belly fat, Oprahs Dr. Oz would be concerned, his omentum it doesn’t seem to have aged him, and the other is still a bright, shining guy despite some rough times.

Rediscovered and restored puppets of Santa Claus and Rudolph that were animated for TV’s “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” are making holiday appearances, delighting fans of the special that has been a perennial favorite since its first airing in 1964. CBS plans to show it again Tuesday.

In the animated feature, inspired by the Johnny Marks song, Rudolph is laughed at and excluded from reindeer games over his glowing red nose. He finds acceptance at the Island of Misfit Toys before reuniting with Santa one foggy Christmas Eve.

It is never too late to refurbish a classic masterpiece, and I’m not just talking about our little red nosed friend. I’m talking about our own characters in life. To get back in touch with your talent. To revive your funny zone. To live every day as if it’s a classic moment you’ll always remember. If you pick up my book, Acting For Real, I reveal to you the secrets of the stars. The steps they take to living a life of success and happiness to be enjoyed all year round. Since the holidays are here what better time then NOW to start living the life you’ve always dreamed of. So, the time is now to stop living your life in the dark, and to light up your way in your sleigh of success all the way to the top.

Why Do We Strike?

0

Heaven Hi!

Why do we strike? Is it because we are mad as hell and want take it any more. Or we need a Cesar Chavez to tells us to boycott grapes or Henry Fonda in the “Grapes of Wrath” we gotta hold out Ma . Is it because we are sick and tired of taking the short end of the stick.

There was a study done where two people could split up one hundred dollars only if they could agree on who would get the short end of the stick. if they could not agree then no one got any thing. Guess what, when the short end became less than a 70/30 split one would call off the deal, they would rather take nothing than the short end.

Now we have unions to make sure, we don’t get the short end and it’s called a strike, but hold on who is getting the short end of the stick in the writers strike is it the writers or the big bad producers, what’s at stake here, the writers say it the future the producers say its the unknown and I say it’s about Pain.

Studios argue that it is too early to know how much money they can make from offering entertainment on the Internet, cell phones, iPods and other devices.
To me it sounds like the studios are reading from the same 1984 script that the writers have long regretted a decision they made to accept the short end of the stick of home video sales because studios said the technology was untested and that costs were high.

The guilds have tried and failed for two decades to increase video payments, even as DVDs have become more profitable for studios than box office receipts.

Almost everyone agrees that if it’s not on the page it’s not on the stage, set or the net. When the supply of new scripted episodes gets shot network prime time schedules would quickly devolve to repeats.

OK, so maybe mandatory withdrawal from a few shows would not be an entirely negative experience. But still. We are all going to feel the pain!

So what do you say “Deal or no Deal” Please some one take the short end of the stick. What’s your feel about the strike? Is it impacting you? What’s your opinion? Leave me a comment and let me know how you feel.

Hurricane Brad Cleans Up!!!

1

Heaven Hi!!!

Our Ocean star is warding off the waves out of Katrina. Expanding on a promise he made nearly two months ago, actor Brad Pitt said Monday he expects to have families in 150 newly created homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward by the end of next summer — but he asked for help to make the dream a reality.

“To build those 150 homes, we need the help of the American people,” he said in a news conference Monday. “We need to all join together to do this. There is no reason why we can’t do a thousand homes.”

Pitt announced in September that he was partnering with film producer Steve Bing to build “affordable and sustainable homes” in the Lower 9th Ward, an area of the city that Hurricane Katrina devastated in 2005. Pitt and Bing have also each pledged $5 million to the rebuilding project.
“You’re going to see life coming in,” the 43-year-old actor told NBC’s “Today” show. “We’ll have people in homes by the end of next summer.”

Now versatility and causing a positive shift in your behavior can be key to tap into your humanities, and Brad Pitt has done that. As effected as residents of Louisiana were about Katrina, it is encouraging to see helping hands extend from Hollywood to give aid to those in need. As we look at the six components that make up human behavior, we can see how Brad Pitt has shifted his much noticed sexuality to focus 50% on his humanities by helping the well being of others.

Make no mistake there is a little bit of advertising going on I mean, C’mon, he’s Brad Pitt, but he has learned to make positive shifts in his personality to aid humanity. In my book, Acting For Real, I talk about the Six Components that Make Up Human Behavior, and how simple shifts in your personality, along with balance can lead you to be the star in your life. To discover your humanities, and live everyday as if it’s your best. So, pick up my book, Acting For Real, I wrote it, all you need to do is read it. It’s all in there.
