Myanmar Ruckus!
1Heaven Hi!!!
Let’s have a cup of coffee. Make My-anmar Ruckus. Hold the silence. Thank you very much.
Silent protests, historically, have been one of the most powerful methods of delivery. Silence conveys a much more strengthening message about the cause at hand. Believe it or not, silent protests are harder to do. It involves patience, endurance, and ultimate awareness. Most importantly, you have to be in BOP, a state of being balanced, observant, and present. In Myanmar, Burma, the streets are flooded with protesters defying their government for not establishing democracy. In result there have been beatings, shootings, and raids. 25,000 Buddhist monks have taken to the streets, for their “voices” to be heard. Like a mime, conveying a message without words, adds more strength to the message. What Burma needs as a whole, is balance, and agreement among themselves, and to establish democracy for the people who protest for it, and at this point, it looks like the majority. As we watch this we have to be aware of where we are in our own lives. How fortunate it is for us, as Americans, and Actors For Real to have democracy. To have the opportunity to defy the odds, and be the star in our own play in life. So seize the moment, and don’t take for granted what you have, and where you are. You have the freedom to be the star, and to make a difference in the world. So, take ACTION! Now. By now you are probably wondering how you can make a difference. So pick up my book, Acting For Real, and find out how. The answers are there.

Cast Yourself!
3Heaven Hi!!!
Let’s have a soda. Make mine an Action! Hold the pop corn, thank you very much.
Who is directing your movie? The beauty of movies is that it has certain fixed speed. The way you see it is that you see it mechanically conditioned. I mean, take a painting—you can just glance at it, or you can stare at the right or lift corner for an hour. Same thing with a book. The author can’t stop you from skimming it, or if your like me starting at the end and reading backwards. The point is, you choose your approach. When you go to the movies, it’s different. There’s the film, and you have to look at it as the director needs you to look at it. He makes his points, one after another, and he allows you a certain number of seconds or minutes to grasp each one. You see, you’re the director, writer and producer. What do you need us to see, what points are you making, one after another. Time is never behind so don’t waste it. Cast your self as the star in your movie.

Hope & Hurricanes
2Heaven Hi!!!
Let’s have a cup of coffee. Make mine a Hurricane Grande. With lots of Sympathy.
Hurricane season has not been kind to various countries across the world. Bombardment after bombardment has claimed many lives from New Orleans to the depths of Mexico. The most recent hurricane ‘Lorenzo,’ reported to claim five lives in the country of Mexico. With all of these natural disasters occurring, we can’t help but turn to our humanities, and offer our loving and caring thoughts to these people who have not only lost their homes, but also their lives. As people on this Earth, we are all equal. There is no superceding class, no cause, or border which elevates one person’s status over the other. As Actors For Real we need to realize, and be aware of our surroundings, and that includes the people who live in this world with us. So the service we offer is charity, giving, and encouragement to those who have suffered from these natural disasters. Our hearts go out to you and we are sending loving courageous thoughts. Just a reminder to share what you can to help those in need. We at Acting for Real give 15% of every dollar to feed the children or mercy corps so order my book Acting For Real and you will be giving for real.

Heaven Hi Tea!
1Heaven Hi!!!
Let’s have a cup of tea. Make mine Hi Tea. Hold the coffee, thank you very much.
When we lived in Santa Monica Canyon, I would take appreciation walks with my three sons along the ocean walk, and bicycle path. It was a Hi game you could only say Hi to anything that you saw in front of you, and never looking back. When some one was walking towards us we would see who caught there eye first, but we noticed that most of the people there were focused too close to the ground, so we had to get there attention by saying Hi. It was great fun for me to see the smile on my sons face when they connected and to see the genuine appreciation on the person face. We expanded the appreciation game to include horizons, and vistas, birds or other animals. Now how about this; why don’t you try an appreciation walk. Tune in with appreciation, and gratitude for everything you see. Just say hi, to the birds or other animals. Notice the breezes or wind, the sun, or any sounds of nature. Notice how much there is to see and appreciate it. See how many Hi’s you can say before you lose your focus on nature and become distracted by the business of your mind. Do not judge yourself, just become aware, that you are in BOP (Balanced, Observant and in Present time). The here and now. Experience the joy in the life you are living for real.
Be Bop!
