The Dance that made You "Faint!"
0Heaven Hi!!!
If you didn’t watch Dancing with the Stars last night you missed an eye shocking event, only it had nothing to do with the dance. After Marie Osmond’s performance she was breathing very heavily while the judges gave their feedback. In the middle of the critique she started to laugh then suddenly her eyes closed and she dropped to the ground like a stone. Audiences were shocked to see the world famous performer fall to the floor where she left every body speechless.
It was reported that the first words out of her mouth when she finally came to was, “oh crap.” She was more embarrassed then anything else. She later went on to explain regarding her condition that “once in a while that happens to me when I get winded. I stop breathing.”
The hit ABC series pairs celebrities with professional dancers and is drawing more than 35 million viewers for its dance-off and results shows. The show puts its stars through rigorous dance routines that test many of them and proved too much for at least one.
If you don’t even know who Marie Osmond is, welcome back from the moon. Marie Osmond was part of the famous singing group “The Osmonds.” However, Marie’s talent is not just limited to singing and dancing, she also now creates and sells dolls. Quite divers.
Now if we look at the six components that make up human behavior we can look at Marie and see how she utilizes her creativity. Marie is obviously quite talented, but what does it take to reveal that talent. It takes being in BOP. In order for someone like Marie Osmond to perform you can see that she is 50% humanities for her passion with performing along with her love for people. She then focuses 25% of her creative behavior on her humor by entertaining the crowds, and being know for her inegmatic smile and her laugh. She know how to find the positive in life by tapping into her funny zone. The other 25% is her sexuality, and how she reveals that by moving her body, and making a 25 degree shift to draw in the crowds.
You can see in my book Acting For Real how you yourself can use these same principle that the stars do to develop characters for the stage, screen, and even dancefloor. So pick up my book and take a look. It’s all there, and it’s about time you take part in the action.
They say in life that action is lifes’ only command. So why not start here? Ready, set, ACTION???!!! But just make sure you don’t faint.

What Are Your Most Valued Possessions?
0Heaven Hi!!!
First, and foremost, my family and I feel the need to send out our gratitude and thanks for the phone calls, and love from all of you. So far the fire as not claimed our home, but it is still moving close. An interesting concept came up as Nancy and I were thinking of what to take should we have to evacuate our home. What would we need? What do we value most? What materials could we not go on with? I caused to really evaluate what was really important in our lives.
Finally the answer became very lucid. Our family and our memories. We found ourselves collecting photos from all over the house of our sons. Photos from when they were babies, all the way to the young men they have become now. There is a piece of our heart in every photo we come across in those pictures. Also, the photos of my beautiful wife Nancy who is my very life. Her protection and our memories of our lives together are more important than anything our home possesses.
Which is the very reason we feel the need to constantly send loving and courageous thoughts to those people and families who have lost their home or are threatened by this natural occurrence. Also, to ask yourself; what’s important to you? If you had time to take anything besides the shirt on your back out the front door, what would it be? What is it in your life that you love the most? It sure is a good time to ask, because for some people it’s only after they lost it that they realize its importance.
We continue to be safe at the moment, but thank you again for all you consideration, we will let you know as the days go on. Just remember that “fire is like a chicken with its head cut off; it don’t know where it’s goin’; it just goes.”

Are You Talkin' To Me (about the Sopranos)?
0Heaven Hi!!!
Anybody a Soprano fan? Well then you’ll love to know that there is more fun on the way. After the finale of the long running hit HBO show, the creator David Chase breaks his silence on the blackout scene in the restaurant with his family. No Tony didn’t get wacked while munching on onion rings, and mostly Chase wonders why so many viewers got so worked up over the series’ non-finish.
Chase insists that what you saw (and didn’t see) is what you get. “There are no esoteric clues in there. No ‘Da Vinci Code,’ “he declares. He says it’s “just great” if fans tried to find a deeper meaning, but “most of them, most of us, should have done this kind of thing in high school English class and didn’t.” He defends the bleak, seemingly inconclusive ending as appropriate — and even a little hopeful.
The infamous mob boss Tony Soprano was indeed in line for a mob promotion, and the predestined “mob promotion” usually means you get wacked. However, it was not the case here. Tony Soprano embodied all the qualities of the dark triangle of human behavior. Since he was in fact the mob boss his role was 50% power. He ruled with an iron fist utilizing 25% fear/paranoia of his character to inflict fear while at the same time trusting nobody. The other 25% was danger. Those mob clichet are there for a reason; “you never go against the family,” “I’ll make him an off he can’t refuse,” and “keep your friends close, your enemies closer.” James Gandolfini utilized these components of human behavior to make his character intimidating and a rule of authority.
My book, Acting For Real talks about the Creative Triangle of Human Behavior, and it tells you how you can focus 50% of your character on a single component while relying on the other two 25%s of your character that compliment your character as a whole. Check it out and see how my book breaks down a character utilizing these components, and maybe we’ll be looking forward to your future HBO hit, “Capiche?” Until then……

1Heaven Hi!!!
Get your dancing shoes on. It’s that time of the season again for Dancing with the Stars! The ensemble cast this season is well worth calling this phenomenon of a show a landmark in reality television. Spicy mamba steps, zesty salsa sachets, and surprisingly fantastic big finishes make this a show that exudes diversity and versatility. Our very own Dr. Quinn Medicine Women is back again to grace television viewers once again. Lovely Jane Seymour does not let age get in the way of her number. In the show, her versatile vivacity makes her an enigmatic spectacle. She has shifted from her humanities, Dr. Quinn where her focus was 50%, and 25% of her character was passion, and 25% sexuality. Whereas now, she has totally made the 50% shift to sexuality by her saucy dance moves and attractiveness. Ooooh La la!
As we watch this season we will break down different characters from the show being that their diversity, and ingenuity is noteworthy within itself. Stop by again as we cover this star studded whirl of a twirl season of Dancing with the Stars. Also pick up my book, Acting For Real, and find out what your dance is in life, and the characters you are playing. Find out how you are able to identify yourself using the laws of attraction to reveal your sexuality. Do You Feel The Need To Achieve?
0Heaven Hi!!!
Who feels the need to be an artist? Alright then, let’s all grab a sledgehammer, and go to work.
That is the question that rocked 35 peoples world at a fundraiser in Atlanta, Georgia. Apparently, one contestant brought forth a steel box, and started to let em have it. His goal: To make a chair. At the Contemporary Art Center crowds were baffled and amazed by the efforts of the young man who took his hand at attempting to create an art masterpiece. Crowds applauded once his steel chair was complete.
“No one knew what the chair was going to look like or what kind of impact their hit was going to have on it. It was a total new and fresh art creation. It was exciting,” said Eric Mack, who wielded a sledgehammer during the fundraiser.
The young mans talent was noted and recognized with an award. As Actors For Real, we strive to tap into that vat of creativity and realize our talent. To be in a state of BOP. The young man at the art show is a great example of someone who is in a Balanced Observant and Present state. He is focused on the steel. He is aware and observant of the people around him and his goal. He realizes that his attempt to make a box into a chair is going to have to allow him to be present. He needs to be balanced as he wields his sledgehammer into the box. In doing so the man became the star of the show and wooed the crowds with his amazing dedication.
By applying these principles to your own lives you too can achieve success. Find out how to tap into your vat of creativity, to break out of your comfort zones, and achieve success. Be the Star in your own life. Pick up my book, Acting For Real, and find out how you can “slam” your way into a life to success. The best part of doing this, is you don’t need a sledgehammer, no’pe just you, and your desire to achieve.

How Do You Reveal Your Talent?
0Heaven Hi!!!
We all know Hollywood can be a hard town to break into, but the real fact is that does not need to be true. In a recent interview, Marc Hirschfeld talked about how he handles casting for NBC studio shows. He has been most recently known for casting Hayden Pannatierre for her cheerleading role in Heroes, as well as Michelle Ryan for Bionic women. Hirschfeld talked about how to get your name out there and to simply let people know that you exist, or in Acting For Real terms “Busting out of your comfort zones, and being in BOP (Balanced Observant and Present). He says networks are always looking for people to fit the particular role they are looking for.
People need to be aware of their own talent, take ownership of themselves, and most of all trust it. The same principles apply for everyone in every day life. Most people are so hindered with negative feedback, self talk, just doing the day to day thing, because they don’t believe that anybody would ever use their talents. They feel that the safe way or “zone zombie” way is the best way to go about life, but at the same time feel the need to better their lives. In my book, Acting For Real, I talk about who on of the first steps to leading a more successful life is to break out of your comfort zones. In order to even know if you have talent you need to start living your life differently than the safe life where your talents were never utilized. Take ownership of your life. Let people know who you are and what your talents may be. Tap into your funny zone. Tell a joke. Flirt constantly because life’s a dance, and you need to be on cue. Learn how to be the star in all the characters you play in life.
Take the casting call on our website and find out the different characters you are in life and start making a change. You will value life more, breath sweeter air, and lead a life of success that will encompass every aspect of living. Most of all know let people know you exist. Let people know that you are the star and it is time you realize it.

Who Hears the Buzz?
8Heaven Hi!!!
Well the latest “buzz” in Hollywood is the buzzing sound of DreamWorks new venture Bee Movie, starring Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellweger. This height of hilarity film tells the story of Barry B. Benson. Barry is a young ambitious little bee that has just graduated from college, and now has aspirations to go out into the world and make a difference. Barry is very disappointed to find that as fate would have it for the little insect; he is forced to work for a honey factory so conveniently titled Honex.
Barry feels that this inhibited drone lifestyle is not suited for him and decides to leave the hive. Barry reveals his passion for live and decided to break out of his comfort zones, to not be just another drone. He teams up a group of bees who go out into the world to collect pollen, and just as luck would have it he gets mis-tracked and runs into a kind hearted Renee Zellweger. Once Zellweger calms down from her shock in finding a bee that can speak she quickly befriends Barry and they exchange their knowledge about their differentiating perspective of the world being that one is a bee and one is a human. A love story of the ages. But it’s not all love and roses. Barry finds out one devastatingly shocking fact. His ignorance is soon revealed by finding out that humans sell the very honey that his fellow bees produce. He accuses human beings of stealing and decides to sue them for buying and selling honey that rightfully belongs to the bees. As we delve into what my book talks about the six components that make up human behavior we see that, Barry’s character is 50% humanities, 25% passion, and an obvious 25% humor.
Seinfeld brings his very popular acerbic with to the big screen causing his character Barry to deliver all of his components in a very brilliantly humorous way. His newly found pal, Zellweger, is almost the human incarnation of Barry’s character. She shares in comprador with Barry as they become quick friends. Zellweger’s character is also 50% humanities, 25% humor, but 25% being sexuality as she uses it to persuade her boyfriend Patrick Warburton that Barry is harmless.
The film dynamic makes Bee Movie a pleasure to watch, and even though Jerry Seinfeld once said, “there’s no such thing as fun for the whole family,” this proves to be the exception. Bee Movie proved itself to be an A movie. Pick up my book, Acting For Real, and watch how you can break down a character utilizing the six components that make up human behavior.

So Long Old Friends
3Heaven Hi!!!
We remember the lives of two great American iconic figures, actress Deborah Kerr, and comedian Joey Bishop.
As for Deborah Kerr, she was remembered for such roles as “An Affair to Remember,” Oscar winning “From Here to Eternity,” co-starring Burt Lancaster, and Frank Sinatra. Sinatra was also in the famous Rat Pack in which Joey Bishop was apart of. An Affair to Remember inspired the all too romantic comedy, “Sleepless in Seattle.” Furthermore, you might recall “From Here to Eternity’s” most famous scene; the kiss on the beach as Lancaster and Kerr are being rocked in the sand as the waves come crashing upon their two inner twinned bodies.
I once had the honor of working with the classic Burt Lancaster in a film “Valdez is Coming.” He remarked how despite her looks, Kerr could make the 25% shift in her body that revealed her sexuality. In my book “Acting For Real,” I talk about how a person can shift their body 25% in order to make themselves appear more attractive, sexy, and “alluring.” Deborah Kerr knew how to do this in order to draw the audiences in. She will go down as a legendary Hollywood actress. She will be missed.
Joey Bishop’s trademarked stone face was the steady aspect that kept the wild and crazy Sinatra, Sammy, and Dean balanced out. Each character of the Rat Pack had their own uniqueness that they brought to the table. Sinatra was a flowing character, along with Dean. Sammy was a flying character. Peter Lawford was the playboy, while Joey Bishop was the molding character. The rock of the group, Joey Bishop launched Regis Philbman’s career where he soared to great heights. Bishop’s deadpan comedy brought ingenuity which merited him to be apart of one of the most legendary teams in history, The Rat Pack. He had a striking stage presence, and acerbic wit, that his docile tone inadvertently drew audiences to listen a little bit closer. A comedic legend which only complemented the three other land marking iconic figures with talent variety, and enigmatic showcasing surpassed by none.
As the last of the Rat Pack members now laying to rest we can say “so long” to a talented era of versatility, vivacity, and class.
However, we will never forget what they brought to us by their immeasurable classic talent. So long old friends, you will forever be remembered.

Where Have All The CD's Gone?
2Heaven Hi!!!
Any music lovers out there?
Well, our new frontier is saying goodbye to record labels. While CD sales are plummeting, internet portals are thriving. Due to sites such as YouTube, MySpace, and other internet creations, music fans are ignoring traditional albums, and viewing their various artists for free.
Bruce Flohr, an executive at Red Light Management, which represents artists such as Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morrissette said in a recent interview, “There’s a prevailing wisdom that many established acts don’t need a record label anymore.” He went on to say, “This is the new frontier. This is the beginning of a new era for the music business.” This is a quite the eye opener for explaing the importance of living in present time.
So the question is: Are we moving forward too fast?
Or, should we wake up and smell what the future has in store for us? Either way we need to be balanced. This transition needs to come so all who experience it will not feel as thought they have been warped into the future.
So, along with updating the way we listen to music, we should update our cliches. For instance, instead of cowboys, we’ll just say, “where have all the CDs gone?”

Is Giving More For The Charity Or The Celebrity?
0Heaven Hi!!!
Meet Paris Hilton, all grown up. Paris Hilton has decided to make a vow to use her celebrity status to do good in the world. She openly admitted that her live was all about glitz, glamour, and parties, but now has reversed gears completely.
Who knew this day was going to come…….. Hands?
The real question is: Are we really buying this?
She is now off to Rwanda, Africa for a 5 day charity mission called “Playing For Good.” They will visit schools and health care clinics in an attempt to bring aid to those in need.
Time will tell if the celebrity heiress is really on a charity crusade out of the tenderness of our own heart. In the event that Paris Hilton does bring peace and aid to the children of Africa, one stops to wonder if charity has become a ‘get out of jail free” card for celebrities.
Has charity become a joke? Is it another form of community service? Instead of traffic school, am I able exchange that penalty to a month long charitable event in Rwanda? We have to consider the intentions and the outcomes behind what is really being done here?
In this day in age there are children all over the world that are less fortunate to have, even the basic necessities of human life. At Acting For Real we donate 15% of our product revenue to organizations such as Feed The Children, and Mercy Corps. Just as we learn from the Title of Bill Clinton’s book, Giving, we should all feel the need to give. Furthermore, we should encourage more of these celebrities who are using their star status and financial standings to aid the less fortunate out of the compassion of their own heart, instead of the need of good publicity.
